Family has always been the foundation of who I am. My story begins with my parents, who first met as kids in Galveston, Texas. Life took them in different directions for a while, but after my father served five years in the military, he returned home, and the two of them wed. Not long after, they began building a family together

From the time I was a little girl, I knew I was favored by God. I would pray, and if it was something I desired, I would take it to Him in prayer with all sincerity—and time after time, I watched Him bring those prayers to pass.
